Who in your opinion makes THE BEST HI-PERFORMANCE BOAT? Assuming that money is no object. Looking at V-hulls only. No CATS. 27' to 34'. Not looking at smaller boats. Something big enough for a trip like Boozer was talking about on lake mich.

I saw the Schiada 32 at the LA boat show and I was blown away by the amount of room it had both outside the cabin and inside. There are going to be a ton of great boats in such a broad category but the schiada name is synonymous with quality.

After three (going on the fourth) seasons of hard running, we still LOVE our Dana 27'.

I would probably go with the Sunsation 32 SS before getting a Cig 30' Vice.
Those where 2 of the boats i considered before buying the 35' Cig

We cut the "beak" off a Fountain back in the 90's, so we could qualify to run the Catalina Ski Race. I threw up for over an hour, while the boat owner sat there and giggled. :yuk:

Donzi, Formula and Fountain make some really nice boats in that range. Formula being the most luxurious, Fountain being the fastest but the least amount of room, and Donzi being a decent compromise. I haven't seen any Sunsations up close but I here they are really nice boats.
There are a lot west coast manufactuers that make boats in that size. Are any of them better than the other? You'll get a million opinions about each one. I'll stay neutral in that debate. Don't just take anybody's word about a certain brand or believe everything you read on ***boat. Go look at some in person and talk to the builders or sales people and buy what you feel comfortable with.
