Firestone Steeltex Tire Recall/Ford Excurions

We received this letter about a week ago from Firestone. Apparently the tires on our 2003 Ford Excursion are being recalled and the will be replaced for free.
Time for some new tires!

I had heard these were on the 4 wheel drives only. Is yours a 4x4? I have a 2wd and haven't heard anything yet.

I can't believe Ford is still using Firestone tires on any of thier vehicles after all the people that have died on those cheap ass tires.
I wouldn't have Firestone tires on a tricycle.

The only problem is you still have to have the Firestone tires in order to get new ones. If you have replaced them like I did because one blew up, you don't get anything :mad:

Thing is...is that I have the updated tires and they suck. The side
walls are cracking. I have about 70 % tread left.
Now I'm fighting with Firestone to replace those.:mad:
Bottom line is Firestone has shitty ass tires. I'll never own another
Firestone tire again. If I can help it.
