View Full Version : buying eliminator tunnel hull

im am buying a 1990 eliminator 207 edge 21 ft tunnel hull with a imco outdrive i plan to put my 800 horse power 496 in it for a project boat. does anyone know anything about the performance of these hulls? is it a stable 100 mph hull?

havent seen many of the edges around here mine is a 1989 but i can only speak for the mid 60's :p only running a stock mag 454.if its like mine thats one heavy sucker and be careful where you launch you will find that that hull needs a lot of water to float

Is it a stable hull at 100mph?No, not because of the hull design or construction, but because it is 21 ft hull.I suspect that unless you are a nutjob, you may only go 100mph a few select, condition perfect times. Even if don't go 100 mph, you can brag that your boat goes 100 all day long. At least that is what some posers do.
