Image ctr. photo upload?

I am trying to upload a photo into the image center and every time I try,it tells me that it is an unacceptable format.Anyone have any suggestions or know why this is happening?

What is the extension on the file you are trying to upload?

had a problem uploading a couple of days ago due to file size, should be getting an error other then unacceptable to let you know where the problem is...

At first I thought the file size what to large,but thats not the prob.The only notification is that the format is unacceptable.:confused:

One more time for posterity, What is the extension on the file you are trying to upload?

Just a guess but if the pic is in .bmp format, then
open the image with a editor (windoze OS . right click the image file then left click edit ) and save it as a .jpg then try uploading it .

right click the pic here in the thread and select properties there will be a URL just copy and paste it between ~
like this [img]http://www.***boat.com/image_center/data/520/1127Dallis_driving-med.JPG[/img ]
without the spaces I put on before the last ] . I uploaded it to my user's photos I'll leave it there as long as you like or untill you get it figured out. K :D

Thanks Cheapthrills,I was able to move the pic into my gallery and then post it as my avatar.

It is beautiful back there,I have family in Lexington NC. I haven't been there to visit since 95.
