Shouldn't you be in church or something?
Saw your sled in front of Absolute on Friday with no lower units. What is up?

Going to run some IMCO -2 Shortie Lowers, and maybe a 1' spacer if needed. Drives are buried too low on my boat in stock configuration.

The round palapa covers only come in 7,9,and 12 foot round. If your measurments are 11.5 ft round then you would only need 1 12ft cover. If it is 12 to 15 ft you would need 1 12 ft cover and 12 of the 4x4 thatch panels to cover leaving you plenty of hangover.

Thats a pretty big structure. If you gave me the size of it I can estimate cost to do it. If you notice the palm grass on top is not braided like ours,it is just mexican palm leaves that were layed on top.Ours are hand braided as you see on the back of our pictures. It will last longer and you dont have to worry about them blowing off in high winds.Ours will with stand winds up to about 75 mph before there is a concern.

You are absolutely correct, with the small exception that I am not a big baller, merely a big baller in training as I still look very closely at the price tag. :)

Just build one yourself. That is what I'm in the process of doing. Just bought the framing from Home Depot and the hardware such as doors and grill from BBQs galore.

Build one yourself. Haven't you ever seen that episode of I Love Lucy when they moved to the country and Lucy and Ethel built a bbq island and Lucy accidentally dropped her wedding ring in the cement? If they can do it, you can do it! :rollside:
Seriously though, my brother just built his own. Took some skill but it is doable and ALOT less expensive. :boxed:

I was looking for bbq islands for quite a while before I decided to do it myself, well sort of. I found some local tile and stone guys that did it on the side. I bought all the materials and paid them for the labor. They layed some stone, built the bar and firepit and helped me assemble the palapa(still have 1 more to put up). The whole project cost about $6,000 plus alot of carne asada and cervesa.
I saved a bunch of money doing it this way and I think it came out pretty good. It probably would have came out alot better if I would have paid someone 3x's as much to do it, but I'm happy with it.
In the pic there is a little sag in the palapa that has since been repaired. That was my work

Who ever builds your palapa structure just check our prices for the thatch, My girlfriend husband thought he was getting a awesome deal and as a matter a fact he got burnt on the thatch, for the thatch he paid over 1850.00 for the thatch only not the structure they were suppose to use a 12ft palapa and 4 x4 thatch panels around the structure which probably would of been 12 4x4 he could not get the 12 ft palapa because there was not any left due to weather in mexico and who had a container full we did! So my friend calls me up to see if i had any 12 ft palapas because she needs this thatch before her party that weekend so she told the guy that she was going to get the thatch and pay for it with me he was so piss!! why because for 1 12ft and 12 4x4 cost 397.87 did they get burnt or what thats BBQ galore for ya. So enough of the drama, if it wasnt for these bbq places charging so much we would not be in business!! SUMMER

THis sound like some ***boat drama to me!!!
But i was not talking about shopping at BBQ Galore...
bbqgalore.com has a forum... where people discuss building of the islands (not the palapas so much) and there are alot of DIYers posting pics and giving ideas. if your handy just building the island looks pretty simple.
steel studs/channels... wondeboard.... vents..... tile and stucco!!
