The 14 year old girl sitting on the pier isn't me. It's a friend from next door. Sometimes she comes over and I brush her out.
SO, my shot was taken today also. That's a beautiful shot.

Ok,
now someone please explain to me why I spend Saturday at a GREEN lake and they have all these clear, clean lakes up in Canada!?!?!
(If we attack their country, could we take their lakes for boating?)
I am pretty sure they have WMD hidden up there, and I think it is up to us as American Boaters to go check their lakes for them!!!
Who is with me?!
(Don't make me post green lake photos here!)

FM , Maple Bay is just a few miles from Duncan and bout 15 min drive north of Victoria. Hit up Bird's Eye Cove ,there's a lovely pub/marina to hang out. You better find yourself a sugar daddy:D with a yacht and start exploring our scenic waterways.I've been boating around here for the past 33 yrs and can find a new cove/bay everytime out there:cool: . Ask Mike [rex] to buy a nice cruiser and keep it here ,promise him to look after it for him;) :D :D :D

LOL! A sugar daddy? Uhh no. :D God only knows why I am here and why I am even interested in boats and boating ... maybe I'll strike it rich someday and I'll be able to get my own boat ... meantime I just enjoy the pics and the people and reading about boat joys and woes.
As for Mike, if he wanted to buy a nice cruiser and keep it here, I'm sure he would ask a boat savvy person to look after it for him. ;) :D

:p Oh sure rub it in! :D Hallett is my dream boat for sure. But twin outboard ? ... 540-T is the one and I won't have to look good the boat will do all the work in that regard!
If I ever do get a boat Attila for sure you could go for a ride I'd probably even let you drive! ;) :D

Forget that stern drive silliness and get a couple of outboards. Mercury 200s would be about perfect. :)

I just did an image search on Google and the only Hallett (besides the 540-T) that caught my eye was a 19' ... but it's a jet boat. $5500 used for sale. Sucks to be me. :D

How about this boat for 25K? I'll see if I can talk the seller into installing one of those furry steering wheel covers and a coffee maker.

Come on up, Deb. You are always welcome here. We won't judge you or nag about running up Scream's credit card bill. Feel free to charge all you want and don't forget, things are cheaper in Canada.
By the way, I like the pretty green water in Havasu. Copper Canyon and some of those other coves have really pretty water. My lake gets green in the fall but it's from floating particles, not Kool-aid green like your lakes.

I had heard that about Canada, Tom, can I use your credit card, mine is "unavailable" at the moment......LOL:D
I just couldn't believe how clear your lake was, wow, I am coveting your lake water.......(I say we all go up there and "borrow" your water and put it in Elsinore!) Come on your our neighbor to the north, help out your brothers to the south!!!
LOL;)
