We were in Parker this last weekend and saw that El Serape has been burned down again. Other than the taco truck west of McDonalds and the overpriced Paradise Cafe, where can you get decent food other than driving up to Havasu. And don't even suggest the Parker Strip Diner, yuck! :yuk:

El Serape is the best Meky food in Parker. When we were out there for spring break, I too, saw that it was burned. Totally disapointed until I drove to Safeway. Looks like El Serape is going to take over the old Senior Manny's joint. At least, there is a vinyl sign covering the old Manny's one so hopefully they will reopen soon.
I still enjoy a Badenoch's breakfast.
What about that "nicer" steak house on Riverside Dr.??? Forgot the name.

I had a good steak at a place by the keys called "Clearmans" I think. It is tough to miss, and I might have the name wrong.
There are a couple good places to eat. I always got descent food at the Blue Water as well. Foxes has good food, Badenochs, and a couple of others.
Coffee in the morning at the Kahuna coffee or whatever on the corner by the keys is awesome too.

Pattt Clearmans is pretty good if you are cocktailed, Soprano's in town has suprisingly good Italian. Other than that you are on your own.

Dont forget about "Taco Bill" at Fox's. He whips up some whoop ass tacos. plus he is funny as hell.

Clearman's was the one I was thinking about.
Forgot about Soprano's...good Italian for Parker.

Goneboatin, what did you have at the diner you didn't care for? We live there now that El Sarape is down again. Rumor is it will be down awhile as they will level the building and rebuild. Strokes by the golf course is similiar to the diner food. Help is not as pleasant there however.
Fox's is excellent for the price, otherwise for us locals we go to La Piazza in town or MBrown2 house and drink his beer....

Biagio's has the best pizza. It's on the keys. When I'm there, I get some to take home.
MFV, you crack me up with the " I don't remember eating" thing. I guess a liquid diet works for keeping that girlie figure. ;)

I guess I need to get off the beaten path (AZ 95) and scout out the old river frontage road. I've tried Clearman's, they're pretty good, but I felt way underdressed comming in from day on the river. I remember 49er Pizza, but that's been gone for while. I need to be more adventurous, but I was when I went to the Parker Strip Diner and that blew. But the kids liked the cardboard food boxes that looked like '57 Chevys.

Jackpunx, we'll hook up one of these times.
The Mrs. and I will be back there this Friday for a quick turnaround trip :yuk:
Need to store the boat and going to look at a couple properties. Unfortunately, we can't make a weekend out of it as my cousin is getting married Saturday.
I think we'll have plenty of lunch choices to choose from after this thread if finished!

Get-R-Dun....LMAO
Who needs to eat in Parker:D
OK, Goneboatin, sounds like you need to go up to Havasu to eat; looks like your aim is a little too high for Parker:D
I have good luck at Paradise, Colorado Grill, Parker Dam Cafe, Strokes, Clearman's, Big Kahuna's and Foxes.....Badenoch's is OK, Roadrunner is marginal, and have never been to Parker Strip grill....also, I don't go into to town much since places keep burning down and I have enough problems with the local authorities already :D....Last but not least, you can go to the Springs and get a good steak there....tell them to put it on Derek LaveySabre575's tab...he's a baller:D  :D

We don't get out to Parker near as much as we used to or would like; but everytime we are out that way, I'm kinda partial to "The River Willow" steakhuse in the Bluewater casino. As far as I'm concerned, the Cajun-blackened Ribeye is to die for and the shrimp cocktail is great!......and the price is right. Last October it was $17.95 + $1.50 for the Cajun-blackening and on a Monday night at that time they had a special where you could add lobster to it for a $2.00 more. I went for it, figurin' I'd get a lobster the size of a quarter, but I DO LOVE LOBSTER, and to my surprise, the damn thing was as big as my steak, which feels to be a 16 ouncer after you're done with it! Strokes is also good. Had a great steak. For fast food, I like the old standbys, Taco Bell, A & W, and Sonic Burger. On the water, I like Fox's BBQ and Badenoch's breakfast has almost always been the only way to go. Kahuna's breakfast burritos were good; but it's been awhile since we had one. Crap! Now I'm hungry!:D

Hangover food and regular food are two different animals.
For hangover's, it's Badenochs, Roadrunner, Foxes, Dam Cafe.
If you're looking for good sitdown stuff, you can't beat the Bluewater Casino. Like Gig said, good portions and totally reasonable prices.

Badenoch's has always been a THE place for breakfast. I know there's great places in Havasu, but it's 30 miles up the river. I always stay at Blue Water, but I never knew they had decent restaurant in there, I'll have to check it out.

Another vote for Badenoch's breakfast, make sure you get it with a side of Bloody Mary! Also, the colorado Grill has kick ass Tri-tip and eggs which is a great way to start off the day. Unfortunately I have a friend named mike Brown(not Mbrown2 from here) and when they saw his name on the credit card they kept looking back and forth from him to a poster on the wall that said "HAVE YOU SEEN THIS MAN?" Finally they shook their heads and we were allowed to leave but DAMN! That was a close one!!!!!! I'm surprised nobody mentioned Parker Dam Pizza! You get a huge ass pizza and they don't spare the toppings either. Make sure you go early, they close at like 8 or 9PM even on weekends.

Moonridge I live at NE 72nd and Halsey. As far as Havsewer, I would only go there during the week if I could go. Right now I'm boatless and workin my arse off to pay off all my debts so I can buy a new Ultra. Oh yeah, the fiance said something about a wedding too but who knows. Anyways, my favorite spots to boat are Laughlin and Parker since I'm a lifetime jetboater. Where's your pad at up here?
