Greetings to HB people.
Thought I would come out of the shadows and actually post.
Been lurking for quite awhile, learned alot, found out where to go, what to do, who not to talk to, who to ask the best questions to.
finally got my own boat, so it is time to mingle.
Been to the river quite a bit with friends and their boats, now I can be cool like them and the rest of you.
I know a couple of you on the board already, they say the rest of you are OK to hang with, that is good enough for me.
Hope to meet others of you at the river.
Ken

Someone as sweet as yourself should never be put on the back burner, that would make things TOO hot to handle. :)
Am I being too forward for a newbie:confused: ;)
:D :D
Everyone says,"Come on in, make yourself at home, do not be shy", well here I am, whers the beer and the remote? :D

I can describe it though, it is a boat with a motor and a couple seats, mostly white. :D :D

Can't fix em until you sell the job. I got em all diagnosed:D
I got Platinum level on the MOE, but no banquet. I believe that is a separate contest that we don't participate in.

mmm....there were some techs they recognized as "world class"
I think most of these tests and training scores are a joke.
CSI based?? please...
platinum award winner here too, next year they can mail me that tie clip and I'll be on the boat and miss the free dinner....
i've actually written 16 this morning but all junk.
prob gonna be on lake mohave this coming weekend and mead memorial. sticking to the zoo?

Well my writer actually came through with an $1800 AC job, so I better get to it.
Training is a joke, I hate the new system. I can never get in to the training center to get my Master Certified status. The class is always full and the one time they called me in from the wait list was the day of the class and I had stuff all over the shop to do. The tests are too easy for me and the ones for the writers ask many irrelevant questions. Why would YOU need to know the resistance of a trans shift solenoid? I do like my ring though, just got my 3rd diamond this year.

Way to go sbark1, wish I could have gotten a new one as well, but I found a nice "pre-owned" citation. Maybe we will see you at the Advantage Regata?
Thanks for the welcome FM and TB, and all the others.
As for the picture, I went home for lunch, soooooo here is the boat and the girlfriend with goofy me in the way as well. (sorry dicud, a better pic of the g/f will have to come later.)

Do you want me to post the "how to post a pic" thread from Rexone?
hold on...........;)

Debbolas
05-17-2004, 02:29 PM
Here's a message I've posted in the past on this...Rexone
================
First thing is you must have your image hosted somewhere on the internet.. This can be ***boatimage center or elsewhere, doesn't matter. What you can't do is have it on you own computer and have it appear in a thread.
Assuming you done the above...
Bring the image up on screen wherever you have it hosted (we'll assume ***boat image center for now).
Right click on the image
A drop down menu will appear at the bottom will be properties
Click on properties.
A window will popup showing information on the photo.
One of the thing will be the URL address which starts with http....
Highlight the address (starting with the http) with your cursor
Go do edit on your tool bar (edit) and click "copy" (this copys the address you just highlighted to the clipboard on your computer)
Now go to the thread you want to post in (a second window open is handy for this)
When you post you will see a series of buttons at the top of the posting window.
Click on IMG.
A separate window will pop up that will have http.... in it. The http... will be highlighted. Hit delete. Now the box will be blank.
Now go to your tool bar again (edit) and click on "paste".
This pastes the address of the picture (which you copied earlier) into the little window.
Click done or whatever it says to complete. You will now see the image address code appear within your posting window.
Its important you only have one http series within your IMG tags which is the reason we hit delete above. Otherwise you end up with two and it won't work.
When finished your code should look something like this (with no spaces) and substituting [ ] for my ( ).
(IMG]http://yourpictureaddress[/IMG)

Welcome Malibuken,
First let me apologize for my wife Debbolas j/k. That being said, since your sig has a Jagermiester bottle in it you are compelled to sever every hot boatter a snifter of the vile concoction upon greeting...:D :D
Have I been Jagermiestered??? Yes, and I remember most of it.

malibuken

Thanks Scream, no apologies neccessary for Deb though, I think she is doing a smashing job at keeping the board alive. :) :)
As for the Jager, not a problem with sharing, never leave home without the stuff. Seems to break the ice everywhere it shows up. Here at home we use a Jager Machine, nothing like a cold Jager on tap. :D :D
That Gold stuff Deb was talking about, that would not be the Goldschlager bottle would it? That be some potent stuff my man!
Once again thanks to everyone on the Welcome Boat for the greetings and salutations! :)
Here are the doggie pics I promised Deb;
