People that like good special effect's and awsome scenery with cool creatures are going to like this movie. Actually computer generated special effects (something I'm not a fan of) were top notch in this Film.
Now as far as the movie...well it's a mix of Indiana Jones, James Bond, and The Pink Panther meets the Werewolve, Dracula and ol Frankstine. Egor was a real piece of work (funny).
The scare factor was low very low, not what I thought the movie would be. Almost to much of a Comic Book, Super Hero type of rendition if you will...And kinda long!
Van Helsing (Hugh Jackman) is a monster killer who works for a secret society that sends him to Transylvania, a mysterious region overrun with dangerous creatures like werewolves and vampires, to fight tyrannical ruler Count Dracula (Richard Roxburgh). Once there he meets Anna Valerious (Kate Beckinsale), a woman whose royal family is suffering under an age-old curse that can only be broken when the count is put to death.
