When you say type, do you mean Brand or style?

It's the truest form of a custom boat:D
I'm sorry, I would call it a ski boat.
At least that's what we called em when I was little.

It looks like a 19' Nordic outboard with a 200 Mariner. Nice boat that is fun to drive in smooth water. 70s, maybe 80s vintage.:)

That's BP1330's '81 Nordic. That's a 175 hangin' off the transom accordin' to BP1330 himself. We're called all sorts of things like whackas, eggbeaters, blenders, smokers, etc., etc., etc. Of course, the boys with the real rigs usually are called that as they leave the "carboats" eatin' wake! Not me! I'm just a little guy! Motorwise that is!:)

THanks for the replies everyone.
First off---Im sorry I didnt find a pic that easier to view. ;) I know that the lady in pic draws most of the attention away. :)
And I wasnt looking for brand just what style people call these.
My dad found a boat this style that im thinking of picking up. Im guessing late 70ish and has a Johnson 125 on the back. Needs a throttle cable and other small items but I may be able to pick it up for around $500 Im going to go look at it soon.
I know they ride pretty bad in the ruff stuff. But I dont care about that. I love the look of these boats. Ive been in love with them sence I was a little kid growing up on the water.

Yeah, they may be rough at times, but they can be a lot of fun in the rough stuff too if ya got the cajones! $5oo sounds like a good deal, even for that old of a boat (in this day and age). You're not gonna get alot for $500. The biggest thing is to make sure that the hull is sound. Check for excessive stress-crackin', dry-rot, wet-rot(?), and that the stringers are still intact and attached to the hull. The motor can be easily replaced for a dime or two if you're not lookin' for big speed or new tech. Older O/Bs and riggin' can be found fairly easily at your local boat shops, the internet, etc. But if you're not familiar (or good) at fiberglass repairs, you could be lookin' at some serious coin out of pocket in the future! There are peops here on the boards that could give you better insight as to what to watch for. Just my .02 worth; and that's probably all it's worth! :)

Be sure to shop around, shop around, and then shop around some more. Don't be sold on the first one you see. Hang around these boards daily and you'll get some good insight before you make the purchase.;)
Good Luck.

Well the boat belongs to a guy who works for my dad. Its sitting in my dads shop. My dad's been into boating sence the the 70s and he used to do the final assembly and crank up on jets boats at a shop in Cali. Hes says the boat is worth it so I will take his word. I just havnt looked at it in person myself. Hopefully soon.
Fiberglass work and all that stuff is no problem.

Heres a problem. I'm looking to buy a boat and I dont even have a truck yet. :( lol
I drive a bagged 00 Cavalier and As you can see in my sig theres not much left of my tow hitch.
But I doubt that the boat will see water this season anyway so I guess that gives my plenty time to find a truck.
