Lakes closed for Mem Weekend??

I just ran into somebody down the street, and they said they were in Laughlin last week. They were told that due to many recent accidents, they may close the launches at Laughlin, Havasu, Mohave, etc. I consider myself to be able to come back with some pretty quick smartass responses, but this one threw me off. I didn't know how to come back to that one. Has anyone ever heard of the lakes closing EVER? Especially on Mem weekend? I think Arizona would have to file bankrupcy if that happened.

They will close the launch ramps, like Windsor in LHC, if the parking is full. Get there by 6a...!!!

tell your buddy he is full of it and to use his head.....how could they close the ramps? But like it was said earlier...they will limit launches due to parking but that is all!
