If so, would you do me a favor? Please?????? (I'm begging here.) Could you measure the hull at its widest spot (outside of rub rail on one side to outside of rub rail on other side) and tell me how wide it is? I'm just concerned with the hull width, not the trailer width. If we ever meet, I will return the favor with a beer.
Thanks a bunch.

Ok, let's try this instead. Does anybody have a 96 or newer Carrera elite, even if you can't measure it or don't want to measure it. I'd like to ask some questions about the boat.
Thanks

I sold my 202XR to gottajetboat a month or so ago.
I don't know, but perhaps they had same hull, with a different deck?
Call Aftershock/Carrera and ask them maybe?
Good Luck.
Maybe someone in the boat trader or on Ebay too?

I have a 202xr and am familiar with the Elite. Did you sell your Nordic??

Do you happen to know how wide the elite is? Do you know how the elite handles the rough stuff on Havasu? What's the difference between the elite and 202? I sold the Nordic 2 weeks ago. I got a call a half hour after I talked to you and it sold later that night. I'm glad it was an easy sell, but now I got to find a replacement. Summer's here and I might be bummin rides for a while.

It could handle Havasu but it might be extremly rough. An open bow might take on some water. I bought a 19' CP, just after talking to you last time. I think the website list the beam of the boat

Thanks for the offer, but I need to be at 21' in order to store this thing in my back yard.

Some of the better riding 21 hulls are Lavey 21XCS, Shockwave 21 Step Skier, etc.
The older 21's with the rounded keel 18 degree bottom will ride pretty rough out there these days.....

River Crazy is right. I sold my 91 Carrera 20.5 Elite (454/jet) earlier this year. It was a great boat but it did give a beating on rougher water. On slight chop and glass it was great. My firend just picked up a 21 Shockwave Step-Skier and it does real well in rough water. Mike

The Essex Sterling may be one of the better riding 21'ers---deeper deadrise than the rest...Most 21' boats seem to have a 18 degree but the Essex is 21 degree. Quality boat.

The 20.5 Elite and the 202 are the same bottom. The top deck was retooled with the cab forward design for the 202.
