PM Phatt Matt,
He got one for pretty cheap, I think he said $100 and some change, as opposed the $220 at west marine.

Phat Matt just bought one at Boater's World in Vegas while we were out there for $100, but it wasn't a Tailor Made or whatever that brand name is. They work awesome. Try boatersworld.com.

Here's one that's a lot less expensive than Anchor Shade
http://www.lostbwana.com/bimini2.htm
They are on special for $69.95
Just got ours, it seems well put together, a little heavier than the Anchor Shade.
Hope this helps,
Caleb

I agree but I have no place on the transom to fold up a bimini. The handicap railing takes up all the room.
Goldilocks and Caleb:
Thanks, I'll check it out.

They do work well when you need some shade in the desert heat :) Granted you can't run with them, and I have seen two colapse in a good breeze, but again,it beats baking your brain!

I can assure you it looks alot better on the Daytona than it does in these pictures, maybe they should use my boat for the advertisement they would probably sell more.

for me it was a no-brainer I don't think a bimini top would look good on my boat, I didn't have to mount any brackets or poles so when you take it down it's like nothing was ever there and I get shade for the kidlets.

what a piece of shit, I used mine 1 time and it was damaged by wind gusts.I called the factory to get it fixed, on my nickel not warranty.... they blew me off BIG TIME. Some of the worst cust svc I have ever experienced... I wrote what happened on it in sharpie marker and sent it back... never heard a word. My .02 dont waste your cash on ANCHOR SHADE CRAP

The one I bought was made by Smith (goggles, moto X gear, etc.) and was only $100. It works out great because I think my boat looks better with out the bimini and now the girlfriend (Goldilocks) has to find something else to complain about! :D
