In West Sacramento County, just heard the emergency broadcast. Not sure of the details but I think its effecting the farm land off of Hwy 99 for the moment................ :cry: :cry:

LOL, its not near me................... yet. Scary tho with all the warnings we have had and the Katrina disaster.

the forecast is for more rain....
the water co.'s are probably upset. hard to raise rates when there's water everywhere. they'll drain folsom though... in anticipation of a future drought. :rolleyes:

Thats because with all the levees theyve built its like New Orleans here, everything is below the river level, and on top of that the levees are 100 yrs old.

They've been talking about the levee system there since I was 5 and nothing's been done about it! Katrina hits and every levee in the United States is under a microscope. They keep raising our taxes and still nothing gets done! It's all Bullsh!t! :cry:
