Actually I just got it into and out of the shop today and for all intents and purposes, another weekend and it's seaworthy. I had the drive serviced, engine alignment checked, water pump done, trim switch changed, carb adjusted... so mechanically I am happy.
I just have to finish the re=wiring of all the accessory stuff, which is more than half done already and all the rest of the little stuff can be done at my leisure.
Some elbow grease and a good interior cleaning and I am ready to go. Like I said, another weekend and I am on the water. I keep meaning to shoot some progress photos, but failing miserably. But one cool thing... the stereo bumps!

If you listen to the enviro-nazis, one drop will contaminate like 10000 gallons of water. Personally I don't really want oil in the water, but I'd like to slap the enviro nazis in to the next century...

Well...laying over the removed back seat, upsidedown and backwards i mixed a mixture of part A(50%) with part B(50%)J.B. weld, then proceeded to glob it on a vertical surface, while trying to maintain the positional position that would provide the most "sealing" effect of said sealant....has anyone ever burnt the bottoms of there feet before???
If this shit doesnt work Im globbing the shit out of it with Blue RTV...amen, hallelujah..good night...gotta go turn the pork roast:cool:

Sounds good and I am not even hungry. Just got back from a HUGE lunch for my dad at Dukes resturant. Scream is watching John Wayne movies and reading ***boat magazine. This is our first weekend home in a long time, and for a long time. We are too busy.
