Point Loma is always rough, rougher than anything I have seen in the channel between Catalina and the mainland. I took a friend out there with the Cig who was a river boater and it scared the $hit out of him.

We took our boat out there... got a little wet actually.
Once we get the thing totally dialed in we are hitting Avalon from here with the boat. I can't imagine a more intense sea trial than that.

About to say... you have a hell of a boat, but I don't think you would have a whole pile of fun in 9+ foot waves with a short interval.
Might spill the beer bong, or have to add a knee to the wheel... ;)

That's a hell of a journey. I did it from O'side which is 57 miles and my throttle hand was a little sore after that one.

I was driving up PCH this morning and it looked like the Bering Sea out there. Reminded me of the Deadliest Catch on the Discovery Channel.

I've probably done it 20 times with a 14 foot Zodiac with a 55 horsepower outboard on it with six full size guys in it.
Sore throttle wrist aye...
