I am going to be looking into putting a set of tabs on my boat and would like some feed back from any one who has them, I did have a set of bennetts on my 01 renegade and loved them. I should have choose them on my new boat. Someone told me once you have tabs on a boat you will always want them, I believe him now. I think the Danas are overpriced but look nice, Bennets are a little more realistic, a friend has polished Bennets on his 24 Hallett and he likes them, any thoughts:confused:

I think that's apples and oranges. Compare the Dana's to Merc K-Planes, and they will look like the deal of the century!

I'll take aluminum over plastic anyday. So it's these fo shizzle or nothin' fo my dizzle.
I had my Lavey "pre-wired" for tabs, in case I ever wanted to upgrade to them. Only a few times have I ever really wished I had them. Mainly with a heavy, unbalanced loads. Someday I'll do it....

They are much more responsive than the Bennetts.

Just FYI. I've had the Dana LT-500 tabs on my Outlaw for a few years, and are happy w/them. Just don't get the piece of sh** electric indicators. They suck.
