 a recall!
Ford Recalls Super Duty/Excursion and Town Car/Crown Vic
Ford's biggest trucks and biggest sedans are being recalled for a variety of safety-related issues, the company said on Wednesday. Some F-Series Super Duty pickup trucks and the Excursion SUV - when equipped with the optional diesel engine - are being brought back for a problem with battery connectors that could lead to components failing. Meanwhile, the sedans are being recalled for bad axles that could lead to squeaking or even seizure of wheels. Finally, some 2004 Ford Taurus/ Mercury Sable vehicles and Thunderbird convertibles are being recalled for rattling front seats. The total of vehicles recalled in the North America in all these actions amounts to about 107,000.

Ok. If there's a recall on your vehicle, it's a good thing.
The manufacture is fixing a problem with your vehicle for free.
Because of an engineering defect.
Or because of numerous repetitive problems with the vehicle.
Ford probably has more recalls than any other manufacture.
Because they sell many more vehicles than any other manufacture.

Recalls are good!
Would you rather have your vehicle break down without notice?
Don't be...

I sold Fords for a little while 2 yrs ago... Everyone gave us Shit about the Recalls on the Focus at the time, till I pointed out that the BMW 3 series had just as many recalls in the same amount of time, but no one hears about them...

I got a 2001 F-250 CC LB 4X4 and have had no problems and my dad has the same truck except it's an 04 with the 6.0 and he hasn't had a single problem:D .

Well let's see my dad tows a 7000lb fifth wheel and a 3000lb boat, together, up the hwy 5 grade going to Bakersfield with a lifted Superduty running the stock gears and a stock 6.0 at 70 mph so I'm not too impressed by your claim!

Surely you're not talking about a diesel
I pulled the same grade in my stock F350 6.0 PSD with my 5,000lb boat at 70mph (watching out for the man)...the truck didn't even downshift (2000 RPM's) If I gassed it, I'm sure it'll do 80-85 up that hill.

What are you going to do with the motor (after its re-built) when you yank it out of the pile of shit it sits in, trannys shot, doors fallin off the hinges, besides put it in a hotrod/boat. I bet a chevy motor isnt in a ford body though. :D
Just kiddin with everyone. I dont even know how to change my own oil.

Why did Ford put heaters in the tailgates of all their new trucks?
So Ford owners can keep their hands warm while pushing their trucks to the shop......
