My weekend at Lauglin

What a weekend! Started out when I met Mr Flying Vee at the craps table. Recognized him from the boards. First person I meet from the boards great guy. Still looking for my ride in the new boat! Started with 500 at balck jack got to 5 grand......and lost it all in about 1/2 hour at 5 in the morning. Went to the dam, beautiful. To many folks must know about the run now cause it was like a wash tub coming back. Now here's the rest of the story. Idling back, near willow, some knucklehead was jumping the wake on a cruiser boat passing me. He lost control and would have speared me, potentialy killing himself and hurting my family. Fortunately out of the corner of my eye I saw him, gunned it and he just hit the rear of the transom ( looks like minimal damage). Towing the boat to storage Sat, get a flat. So burned out called a tow truck to take it to storage. Didn't even wipe down the boat, now I've got to get someone to detail it. So bummed with the accident, flat tire.......I'm ready to sell the boat ........to many knuckleheads, yadda yadda. But I get a call from the casino I comped out nxt weekend so I'm hooked again. I also had an interesting weekend at Laughlin. Started out with a speeding ticket in Barstow, 67 pulling the boat. :(
Ended up at urgent care in Laughlin with a kidney stone. It disproves my theory the beer drinking will prevent stones.
I think I’d rather be stoned than lose 5 grand in 1/2 an hour.

Not to be unPC but they were part of the crew that hangs out at the beach by the hatchery. Met a guy & his girl in a Warlock that said he too came to close for comfort with those dicks..but anyway. Frenchie I always go out of Cottonwood on account of the busy docks, is it better at 8am? Well I'll look for ya Saturday, & I'll make sure I have a silver bullet to share. So yeh I'm gunna get back on the horse

sounds good, well look for an ultra, and look for about 5 shockwaves and a few others in a pack....im guessing about 9a.m .or so !! is that right hd&boatrider??;)

What do you expect on rookie weekend? The more mexicans that get sea doo's the more I'll stay on the dock. Plus it is alot more fun watching drunk assholes yell at their wifes/girlfriends trying to back the trailer in!!!!! Would not put my shit in on a holiday weekend!!!Used to do it but Just Say NOOOOOO!!!!! Glad your allright!!! Too many kooks out on those days Take an off week during the year and have some fun!!! This hurry up and boat for a three day weekend shit has to stop! This is why people get killed!!!!

Sorry to hear about your incident, but glad to hear your crew is okay. Sounds like you still managed to have somewhat of a good time. Wait to detail the boat until the end of the season. Vinegar and water will take care of it for now.

I was there at Mohave for the 5th thru the 7th, stayed at the Flamingo, cannot believe the stupidity of the Jet ski/Lake Lice riders/renters, missed a few roosted a few too, bot only got to roost and throw one time but was more than worth it, guy was ok but his girlfriend who was egging him on to race and then cut right in front of maybe half a boat length, 10 -15 ft. went round the back of my boat to go for it again , i just wish i had had a camera rolling it was great guy pulled in closer i sped up he went for the bait and i hit the UP switch on the diverter trim, bye bye my little friend, swunhg around to make sure they were alright, yeah they were fine just a litlle pissed and i think more than a little embarassed, they got back on and went straight to the marina, didn't see them the rest of the day.
Had i known some of you were going to be in Laughlin , i would have tried to meet and greet , maybe next time.

Kidney stones... I feel for ya. I had my first experience 4 months ago. Now I keep the heavy vicodin handy just in case wherever I go..
I thought I got my stones from my lack of beer (wife was pregnant, so I did the sympathy thing and slowed my drinking way down) Now I think there is some blood in my alcahol system.
