About a week ago I posted how pissed I was at my boss. After 2 pages of bashing the response was the unanimous: GET A NEW JOB! Well I went for an interview with a company who has been headhunting me for over a year now and they made me an offer. I am really scared and very nervous. I told them that I would make a decision and let them know by noon. SO I am sitting here at my current job freaking out..... My stomach doesn't have butterflies... They are more like teradactles!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!
Anyways just thought I would let you know that I think I am going to take it. Thanks for being there for me and for your advice.

You mean you can get advice from this board?;)
Seriously, sounds like you are moving on to bigger and better things. Hope all of it works out for the best.

That's great!
It's always nerve racking making a change but think of the big picture. 6 months from now you'll be wondering why you didn't make the change sooner.

I just wouldn't be able to forgive myself if I didn't try it! So if anyone need a CHEVY let me know:D

Good for you! It will work out and I know it's nerve racking. Just move on to bigger and better things. I hope you can still sneak on here and post. As for the current job, remember that by law they HAVE to pay you for your accrued vacation if you haven't taken it yet. Good luck and let us all know how it works out.:)

Take a two week vacation (if you get paid vacation) and then quit. It is a smart thing to get the offer in writing though first! Good luck with the new position!;)

I have seen it happen where people give notice and don't get that new position.
I've been following the topic and really want you to get that new job. I would HATE to hear otherwise.
Good luck today...
Forensic
That is a good idea, can you get the final offer before you give notice?
