This we could definately use.
Our boat is in the shop having the skag/skeg repaired.
River Dave is setting us up with a cool prop, we should get Wednesday.
So it looks like we may make our Lake Powell Trip next weekend.

True, they will sneak up on you... I had that happen before too... reading 20 feet suddenly bang... then the depth alarm goes off, thank goodness I was idling...

River Toys Jason was saying that he walked an area of the river when the water was really low, and there are a few spots where there are these big old boulders in the middle of the river. I guess you really need to know the river up there.....

Even if you "know" it, it never really looks exactly the same. You can maybe know where to come off plane and which side to steer to, but otherwise you may still find those little gems down there.:frown:

I guess you have to look at the side of the river to know which side to go on. More rocks on the CA side.
I just don't need to go up there anymore.
Cancelled my AVI reservations and that weekend we will be in Havasu at our friends house.;)

I went up there in my old boat... not the eliminator that would have found the same rocks... and had no problems.

I'm thinking of naming my boat Prop Checkr... since I tried to cut my leg off on the last boat I owned. What other productos do you have? Disclaimer: Lava Lamp not included!
