New boat - out of the mold!

Just came out of the mold! Our son designed the graphics and we think they came out great! They do beautiful work there at Shockwave.
Don't blink while you are at that place either! After we took some pics of the boat, we went inside to look at another Step Skier. We went back outside, and our boat was gone to the upholstery shop! LOL
We can't wait to get it on the river!
Once again, thank you to everyone that offered your help in our decision!

No, it went to upholstery yesterday, so I don't think it will be back yet.
We are Parker people, although our first trip in the new boat will be a week at Havasu. We are looking for property now, but if we can't find something in Parker, we might be moving upriver around Fort Mojave.

Yes, we wanted to keep it simple. We are very happy with the way it looks :)

We've already painted a deckboat like that, and we wern't the first to do it. I can't remember the name of the builder, but I saw it in Hot Boat a couple of months back.

Hmmmmm. My son designed ours, and he doesn't read ***boat. We just told him that we wanted swooshes and to keep it simple. I think he came up with a great design, and he's pretty proud of it!
I am sure graphics are going to be similar (swooshes, etc.). There was another thread about copying graphics, but with all the boats being designed, I think it's difficult not to have boats looking similar. I am sure Magic didn't copy the other design out of ***boat. It's just the same ideas, and you made an original.
But that's OK, we know that the one on our boat is our original design. And, SW did an awesome job!

Funny... he was really interested in working for a custom boat company. But, he is going the firefighting route. Probably so he can afford those custom boats. ;)
