I know this probably isn't the "correct" forum for this but I haven't seen a forum where this should be asked, so here goes. Anyone have any suggestions on what is the best gel coat reviver? My boat is 11 years old and the shine is starting to get weak. It's red metal flake, IÂ’ve tried several different waxes and polishes but haven't come across anything that really doest the trick. Anyone have any suggestions?

well you would be better off served just having your boat color sanded. There is a guy in santa clarita who does fantastic gel coat work. I have seen him bring boats back to life. He is really reasonable also... His name is Chris and he works for DP Glassworks/A1 boat shop... the number there is 661-250-8222

thanks for the tip. One question, after the color sanding what do they use to buff it out?

That's a matter of preference but 3m perfect finish is a popular product.

3m products are great in all regards. I have used their color restorer, cleaner wax and marine waxes for years. Good stuff.
