Hey, at least you're getting a Lexus. :p
This review on the Scion TC:
"It feels like a larger car and is quite refined, almost as if from Toyota's luxury Lexus division. "
:D :D :D
We are thinking the same thing, in a different way. My truck is getting old and gas is killing us right now.
We are planning on buying a commuter car, and just leaving the truck for towing/hauling only. We should come out ahead in the long run.
New tow rig $50k+
Annual gas $4000-$6k towing and every day driving
Total $54k-$56k
Current truck paid for
Annual gas towing only $1000-$1500 (10 trips a year)
Commuter car $15k
Annual gas $2k
Total $18k-$18.5
Savings of $36k..... down payment on new boat!! :D :hammer2:
And we have a 3rd car for emergencies. :D
The solution was the SCION out the door for less than $15k!
just 02.
For 15k you can buy a lot of gas / diesel. On a long drive to the river / lake, I feel safer in my truck than in my buddy's Camry.
Just my $0.02
my truck is a f350 crew dually v10, I just bought a New Road King and hardly ever drive the truck any more and it is getting 38-45 miles per gallon.
Nuttin like a Harley on the road.........
You know I've been considering exactly that. Wife hates the idea, but the tc (?) looks ok. Well if she doesn't like it, I think the O5 GSXR gets almost as good mpg, and has more power too. ;)
And if the boat needs to come back for service???????? Sub would tow it but the GSXR would look a little funny :2purples:

Thank you Jay.
I think he needs to give you a call. :)

That's what I was thinking:
$15,000/$2.50 per gallon = 6,000 gallons x 15 mpg = 90,000 miles
THAT is a LOT of trips to/from the river
Hey Sean, I'll go get that Yellow/Black GSXR1000-and we can share!!!!LOL
The only problem with those little cars are if you get in an accident. Can you imagine getting creamed by a truck in one of those things??
Surprisingly, those damn things rate pretty well in accidents......who'dathunk?
.
My daughter and I have "I Spy" games on the road to see who sees more "Lunch Boxes" on any given road trip. :p :p
