New to the online boat community
Hey everyone. Thought I'd say hi since I'm a newbie here on the forum. Several of the topics have been useful with my old boats so far so thought I would finally join and stay connected. Right now I live in socal but also live in lake isabella and lake tahoe (winter time). Been involved with boats/waterskiing for over 30 years and between my dad and I, we have 2 great classics. I have a 1977 Tahiti, 21' Daycruiser with all original gelcoat, 460 ci, and original jacuzzi pumt that I just freshened myself. It also has the "bushwacker" diverter which by itself is a piece of history for the design being stolen from an existing shop (Place Diverter). My dad has a 1969 Belmont 20' flatbottom hat he bought from the original owner in 1977. This one is currently a restoration project of mine. I just had the daycruiser out this weekend after the pump freshening...what a blast. The new project is in the garage....a blown 468 for it! Hope to chat with ya all soon. :cool:
