That has to be one of the coolest things that I have seen yet! Did you make the special intake and gear box or buy it?
Do you have any pictures of the intake from the bottom? Here you go Miller. This was taken by HBjet from the last boat show in LA I think.

RandyH:
What happens if you cross Rooster Streams, I am afraid to ask.
Egon: There's something very important I forgot to tell you.
Venkman: What?
Egon: Don't cross the streams.
Venkman: Why?
Egon: It would be bad.
Venkman: I'm fuzzy on the whole good-bad thing. Whattya mean "bad?"
Egon: Try to imagine all life as you know it stopping instantaneously and every molecule in your body exploding at the speed of light.
Ray: Total protonic reversal....
Venkman: Right, that's bad...OK.. important safety tip. Thanks, Egon.
I cant wait to see pictures of the Roost.

Jet2Riv: Is the actual dual drive intercooled? It looks like there is a filler on the top. Gear oil? You say your boat is a V bottom. What kind of work did you have to do on the keel? I laid glass on the inside about 12" wide from the front of the intake to about 18" so that I could grind a radiused keel infront of the intake. I can't imagine how much glass I'd have to add to grind for two intakes.

I sooooooo want one. I mean.. two!

Wild stuff! So is there a URL for the outfit that makes these parts?

This would be great for my 26' SleekCraft jet. Where can one get details, costs,etc....
I run a little more than a stock 454 in my aircraft carrier, but still get around 50mph and it planes out very quickly.
Would be intrigued to know if I'd get more speed as well, plus this appears to give me more of an excuse to work the motor as well.

Im not sure of the point...is it better hole-shot?
What do you run...a couple "C" impellers?
Anytime power is run thru gears, you lose some power.
Add the fact that a jet is only about 90% effeciant to a screw (and now youve doubled that), top end *must* be comprmised.
