2005? I didn't think they were out yet? With a $750 warranty $1,200 worth of skid plates and an $800 dollar set of tires? He go one hell of a deal. Sticker is $8,499 plus fees, your buddy must be one hell of a shopper.
BTW most dealers are getting way over sticker.........in Ca. and Az. from what I have found.

They come stock with plastic skid plates and 6 month warranty. Did he already pick his up? If so you better tell him to check his paper work because the dealer I bought mine from said that Yamaha wasn't shipping 05's until Oct. or Nov. and I checked with a few and found that to be the same everywhere on time frame. Plus the stink'n "waiting list" they all seemed to have.
Enjoy your new one thier a lot of fun!

The river is done, we might do one or two Havasu trips a year other wise it is going to the the ocean.
Glamis never been.......... I still have two 2003 Honda qauds, so we won't be with out anything to ride.......... for now. Might sell those too. After all I did buy them for the river in the winter time.j/k It's just time to clean house Sold the boat, selling the Rhino and selling my 96 Z28. I just looked around and said "there's to much shit here I don't drive".
I did see a picture of one with paddles on it, it looked pretty crazy. It's an automatic with 4high,4low and reverse. It has four wheel drive with two modes, diff and lock all four tires. Top speed stock is 36 or 38 but with the bigger tires they say 40-42 because of the bigger size.
