I need some help trying to identify the boat I purchaced recently. It was sold as a 1960 Gold Digger, but I don't think there is such a thing. There are pictures on e-bay motors item# 2480062422. I don't know how to get them to this site. The boat has a lincoln 462 c.i. engine with 6 2-barrel Stromberg carbs on it. It also has a casale v-drive and there is a forward and reverse transmission. I know very little about these boats as I have always played around with old chris-crafts. I really liked the oak frame and mahogany deck on this boat, and I like the lines. Anyway, I'd appreciate any help or advice. If anyone knows anybody knowledgeable about these boats, please put me in touch with them. Thanks

it appears that you have a piece of history on your hands. What will you do with it. v-drive
Looks like a Spico to me.
Something just keeps saying old Mandella to me
Wow that is a classic piece there!..
V-Drive, Thanks for the reply. What would you do with it? I Know for sure I want to re-do the mahogany deck, paint the boat and trailer, and put some Cragers or something 60's like on the trailer. I was also thinking of putting some flames or shark teeth on the boat paint, what do you think? I'm open to suggestions from anybody. Thanks
Honestly, I would keep it period perfect. I have a 1966 laveycraft and I just think the old boats have alot of integrity. I would love to have an old cracker box. Good luck, have fun and remember you have a piece of history.
v-drive
Keep it original, it's bitchin!..
The nose looks like Rayson Craft
