this is true, my 25 Citation had a 24 originally, then went down to a 22. the 24 DID give a much better top end, mine has a 454.

when you are trying to figure out the what prop also keep in mind the elevation that you ae running at. The same prop at sea level, then Mead (or the river) and then at Powell (~3500') will give you different results.

I believe mines a 24 pitch and I'm on a 24 foot Ultra
