Has any one had a Rooster Booster? What about putting one on with a droop? any drawbacks with handling? Speed? http://free.***boat.net/ubb/biggrin.gif

I have a droop snoot on my Spectra 20 and it works great. Your Howard is the same hull as the Spectra 20 so it should work also.

What is this fabled "rooster booster"? is it just a 15 deg wedge?

Exactly. Its a wedge. When you install one, you can throw a huge rooster (super high!). However, its all show and no go. You also loose the ability to trim the diverter down. As a result, you loose some rough water trimming capability.
