Anyone run these? I have a set that's been on the shelf and since the motors out right now I was thinking about throwing them on. I'm running the IMCO looking valve covers seen here

I put the adjusters that come with the girdle on. I spun them on by hand, but not tightened down. The valve cover sits on top of the damn adjusters. I'll adjust them down tomorrow and see if I get the clearance needed, but curious if anyone knows for sure :hammer2:

I run Crane stud girdles with Imco covers. You have to cut the drip oilers off and 2 rockers on each side must be slightly clearanced to clear the valve cover bolt hole.

What do they run for, brand spanking new?

This fits under Imco covers. You can see one rocker clearanced for the bolt hole boss.
Not sure how much they are new 78

I guess my valve covers weren't actually IMCO. They didn't have anything on the underside except a baffle plate right below the breather. Those bolts appear to be what was causing the interference. A little playing around and I fixed that problem
I noticed the shop had to clearance my one rocker on each side as well. At least it appears to be a normal fix. :hammerhea
Hey Info, I noticed when I torque the bolts that go through to the upper bars it tends to bend the bar in some in the middle. I wonder why they didn't put a stop bolt here like on the lowers?

Nothing bolts right on. You have to modify something. Comes with the territory. Universal fits nothing. Bolts right on doesn't either.
    What I have learned anyway.
