    Now there's some fun iron to play with. I could see the Econoline tubbed with M/T Sportsman's on the rear and a pair of 15x4 ET Thrusts on the front. Lower the front appropriately, and maybe a tasteful 2" chop. Any v8 will blow the tires right off, but might as well make it fun.

    Not that lucky Art. I do have to give them back. Now the galaxie is available to me whenever I want it but the econoline belongs to my cousins machinest...

    Wow that sucks big time, that Econo would make a bithin tow vehicle!..Now if I had that Galaxie, no way in hell would it ever leave!...

    As the lucky 2nd owner of my dad's '64 Galaxie XL Convertible, let me say "Nice Ride". Mine is decent, but needing restore, and is only a hp 390/4 speed, but same colors, Silversmoke Gray metallic with a black top. Any interest in trading engines????
