hope you did not take the topic as product bashing, was not meant to be taken that way, but only to find out if there was something wrong with the unit!
today i took the piece to work and looked at it with a jewlers eye and noticed that there was a rather large knick in the ball seating surface, so a small fix and now all better!

Okay, but if it gives you any poroblem, send it in. does the spring still look good? and the ball smoothe? snap ring in place?????

id say your prime a jet has trash in it or a weak spring. the product did exactly what it was suppose to on my boat with a droop and it does not "spray" after you build pressure
