Ok Taylor guy`s you wanted to see it, now your gona
I have a JC-12 coming for the SJ
With the old insert pump it ran 72mph on GPS. I`ll post up pictures as the project goes along.
What kind of hp your running to get 72?

I really couldn't tell ya cause I`v never figured that motor cut back with 2 holley 600`s on it and on 91 gas. Maybe 500hp at the most??

Are you putting the new pump in your self? How hard is that going to be?

Yes I will be doing the bottom work and the install. it`s not that hard for me as I`m in the body work and painting field anyway. I think the average guy could do this kind of stuff if he has someone help him that has some boat repair background or some knowledge of how things work. It`s not as easy as just cutting a hole but it`s still not all that hard.

Sorry I haven't posted anything in a few weeks. I got sidetracked with the opening of Motocross season. I had to get the bikes ready for the St. Valentines Massacre and put the SJ on hold for a few weeks. Well worth it cause I took first in the 125/200 class
I`v got to get the pump over to Duane's pretty fast cause I`v also got to get the hydro ready for the season opener in Waco. Still got to do a bottom end on the motor so the SJ might get put on hold again?? When I do get started it will go pretty quick so keep an eye out for me to post those updates as it goes along. I`m thinking about a week to do the install once we have the pump ready????

My new Truck motor spit the balancer off at the state line then I turned the train around and headed for home at 3:am. got as far as Goddard and went on to the lake being it was on my way home. Unloaded the Hydro and started to work on the truck. Couldn't fix the Crank shaft so went I for a spin in the hydro. One of my friends had a little mishap to finish off the weekend.
