Come on MAXI, it's all in fun. My job is to talk smack to you until you show up.
My main lake has several 90 mph Berkley pumps with warmed up 454s. My 72 mph outboard is faster than all of them.
They're all great guys. We do some some runs and talk trash. I like it when one of those guys waves me over for a chat. It's a great way to meet people on the water. Everyone has a good amount of respect for each other's boats.
As far as the open mind bit, I like to think I'm OK there. I guess everybody does. I wouldn't have believed it from anyone else but if Jungle Boy tells me there are 120 mph small block jets, then there are 120 mph small block jets. I plan to go to the world river jet championships in Alberta this year to give it a look. Actually, I'm really looking forward to it.
