They are so cheap, just order one. They go in dry.
The gasket that goes between the pump and the intake housing, is that something I can make out of gasket material myself, or is it something special that I would have to order readymade? After pulling my pump, it's not in the best of shape :rollside: Also, does the gasket go in dry or would I use some sort of gasket sealer or RTV or something??

Cool! Next question I suppose would be where could I order from? This will be my first pump-related purchase so any info is appreciated...

http://www2.***boat.com/image_center...DCP_3939.JPGit sure is!!! i never caught that in the other pic's,huh! i wonder what they changed in 74 and 75,everything else looks to be the same.i'll bet your forward-reverse lever isnt on the floor on the right side of the drivers seat either! i thought the previous owners had moved it there but there is no sign of a hole ever being up on the left side in the glass?
Was there a picture of something specific you wanted to see? Sorry it took so long. We're pretty busy today. Trucks got me hopping and I just got a call from the girl out at the fiberglass shop where my boat is... says my boat guy wants me to come by after I get off work. Guess it's time to buy some beer to kill the pain
