Looks like PG is awefully late to the show. Kinda like bringing a knife to a gunfight!

Hmmmm??? I thought 10000watts @ 2ohm was a little more than 6000watts @ 2ohms...

It might be a little difficult to achieve a 2 ohm load on a 4 channel amp. Who makes 2 ohm component speakers?

Check the specs...2500x4 at 2 ohms...and since PG is now measuring their amps output like JL does....(not different depending on volts) I would say those #'s are pretty conservative. :boxed:

There is some information not available yet on that PG amp. But to me it looks like a 4 channel amplifer. Perhaps you could bridge 2 of the channels for a subwoofer.
Either way, it would appear that either brand of amplifer are now beyond the design limits of just about any automotive speaker on the market.
PG may have gone the way of regulated amplifier designs in their higher end lines. JBL is rated at 12.5V. But to me regulated designs are purely marketing and very hard on batteries....

What the hell does all that mean???

If you turn up the volume, your gonna go deaf.....QUICKLY!
