Thanks for the warning Cruiser, but my boat and every other Nordic I have seen has full length stringers. I would imagine it would take some serious wave action to split a boat in half.
I talked to a buddy of mine who's specialty is hull repair. He says that most major damage, such as keel cracking, is due to improper trailer set-up. Cruisn's pal probably had a trailer with center runner wheels that were set too high.
P.S. My Nord also has full stringers.

His trailer was definately a piece of crap! single axel shorelander with one set of carpeted bunks(no rollers)looked like it was made for a 14 ft. aluminum skiff. Could have been the culprit.
Jet, I got the pics, and they is a sweet ride. Your hull design is alot like mine, but it looks more narrow at the back I think. Anyways, nice pics. I will shoot some of my boat this weekend.
