Some progress.....

The past week I have put in the freshly prepped MPD pump and the reworked "Wicky Spanker" and all went fairly smooth. The guts where ripped out of the Howie for to long. I might have to come up with a couple of milk crates for a back seat, and who knows if an engine cover will be ran this year but my ride changes with the seasons, never quite happy and always tweak'n something here and there. Any comments???

Do you have any plans of puttin a back seat in it? I noticed the "Wicky Spanker" are you taking it to BBSPIV?

Did you run with that same exact exhaust setup last year? The only reason I'm asking is that I think your going to have a problem with that rubber elbow. It's going to be taking full exhuast heat witout water injection at that point. If the elbow is other than rubber dismiss my response, it just looks like it in the picture. You've got a sweet ride, and it would suck to see it burn that hose out and have something bad happen. Especially since I'll be looking for a ride in it in August http://free.***boat.net/ubb/wink.gif She's looking good, hopefully you'll have her in the water soon.

I like the exhaust too. I was wondering how much for thru transom wet headers? I have a stock mill with exhaust humps removed and Lunati cam for jet jobs. How much gain can I expect with thru headers as opposed to logs. Would it really be worth it?

FB, This is a new exhaust system(Stellings)I got off ebay for 500.00(2400.00 new) The elbow is a high temp exhaust piece by Trident marine, but i'm kind of wondering if it will hold up to. If not I will fab something else(I made the stainless down tubes)
Jroos, I used to run logs and thought they sucked so I upgraded to alum. center rise and they were nice. I have not had these in the water yet so dont know what gains but the cool factor went thru the roof.
