Mod V or tunnel. I think it depends on who your talking to.
I bought this boat late last year, but we can't seem to find who actually built the boat. 19ft long - cathedral hull type thing, pointy at the front, 21"prop, single 225hp.
Tunnels run either side of the center hull all the way to the back. Top of the tunnel is square (i.e. no angle).
(I can't seem to upload a photo of the rear)
What type/class of hull do you call it?
Mod V or tunnel. I think it depends on who your talking to.
A true "tunnel" has just the outer two sponsons, creating a tunnel down the middle. The boats like that with a center pod are Mod VP's.
Thanks fellas, I haven't seen any around these parts to ask the question.
MODVP if the center is below the outsides.
What when the center sponson is a few inches above the outer sponsons? Like most western cats?
Mine has the center hull about 1inch? from memory lower than the outside sponsons. Can just see in the picture here.

Whats the best height for the prop for just above non-aggresive? - The prop at the moment is just below the bottom line of the center hull.
