Question for you Chet. Why would someone who lives in Southern California such as myself or 77charger send out pumps out for repairs to a shop with a good name, but we still can't see any of there work in person? I chose MPD for a few reasons. 1) The fast boats that ran at Lost Lake where I grew up going to the river all used MPD. 2) Most of the fast jets at the NJBA races when I was a kid all used MPD. 3) When I bought my boat, I just happen to work a street over from where MPD is located, thus making it very easy for me to go over, ask questions, see other projects, and meet other boaters. Not only have I recieved great pump work, I also was introduced to Dave at DNE an engine builder 2 doors down who works with Jack when setting up drag boats. I think having a pump and engine builder, both with proven fast boats at the races, and both work together, and both in the same complex, and both right next to my work, it would be silly of me to send my pump to anyone else.
Now do you see why I use them. I can understand if you had to ship your pump out regardless, you would choose the closer shop to save on shipping. So do us all a favor, stop talking smack about recommending MPD when all you do is recommend Aggressor when you haven't even called Jack, but I have called Dave.
So shut up, this is the oldest, dumbest, thread topic and everyone including myself are sick of it. So give it up.
BTW, Mr. Tom Papp ran a Berkeley bowl at the NJBa races. Let's see what he runs at the next race.
here are a few photos for you.

Kind of neat with an Aggressor sticker on the hull, but running a Berkeley bowl.

HB I`m not trying to get shit in a pot here but, that is an AGGRESSOR INTAKE for sure, as far as the Bowl cant tell ya they look so close but from the pic it looks like an Aggressor too and why I say that is because where the Nozzle bolts on is longer than a Berk and the angle of it is different just like an Aggressor. He might have told ya it`s a Berk but racers don't tell you everything!!
Hey would some one tell him that he installed the Prim-A-Jet wrong! It goes in the top of the Bowl. http://free.***boat.net/ubb/wink.gif

Slowy, I thought you would know better. You have an Aggressor bowl. The Aggressor bowl is longer then any other bowl on the market, and the rest are pretty much the same length. Funny you can't tell. Yes, that is an Aggressor suction piece, which originally had an Aggressor bowl attached to it.

    Aggressor Bowl
as far as the Prime A Jet, well, that isn't one. That is a Zerk fitting in the bowl where you would put oil. I just don't know why there is a zerk filling on that side, and just a regular plug on the other...Funny how you question Tom Papp.

Prime-A-Jet installed into an Aggressor bowl. Polished, but flawed.

As far as the Zerk, Looked to tall but I wasn't there to see what it was, didn't mean to piss you off so bad dude http://free.***boat.net/ubb/wink.gif
Funny how you question Tom Papp.
Didn't know I ever called on him????
Yes, that is an Aggressor suction piece
well 1 out of 3 isn't all bad http://free.***boat.net/ubb/smile.gif I did however say that, that was the only thing that I could say for sure was Aggressor now didn't I?

What's neat about that??? Now if he runs one at the next race and the aggressor works better are you going to say that's neat too? Oh i forgot, it's in the setup. Anytime you want to put money on that a PROPER setup berk pump will outperform a PROPER setup Aggressor pump you let me know K? I'll be happy to take your money.
Do this HB..... call aggressor anonomously and tell them to basically retire and give up all they have done for the sport and tell them (in your mind)that they have basically wasted almost 8 years in jet R&D all because in a nutshell, their stuff isnt any better than what's been used for the past 30years. That IS what you are saying isnt it HB?? You have a knack of turning mr. aggressor's screws on matters here so why not go all out??? Ignorance is bliss they say and that seems to be your middle name.
    CHET
P.S. thanks for my bowl answer..let me know next race. Make sure you get a better less "flawed" bowl pic for us. Like that makes a difference when you run 80's like that big heavy boat in the pic runs with that aggressor bowl. Heck that faster than your boat. http://free.***boat.net/ubb/smile.gif

HB is 100% correct. I zoomed in on this pump and my own Berk G and they are identical. It looks like some sort of Zerk fitting in the exact same spot as the oil hole is. The second oil hole appears to have been filled. Hummmm, is this pump magic or a little camouflage?
Well-done HB, you came prepared this time with good info, no BS... bla bla bla. :-) A picture says a thousand words.
PS: Who ever said TP runs anything other than Berkeley? CHET are you making this $hit up?
