no, I was trying to have my ride together for bakersfield Oct.1,2 but I broke a cylinder head. I run a closed chamber oval port head and I can't find another one. closed chamber square ports would work but then I would need a new intake too!!!!!!!!!! so maybe I'll figure something out for thanksgiving.
I don't believe a jet can be competitive in that particular race. It's just not fast enough. I am at 77 mph now and fit in just right with the nostalgia endurance class considering the speed limit of 80 mph.

lilrick, what is the number of your broken head? I know I have a few BBC heads laying around, as I'm sure others do as well. Give us a number, maybe we can hook you up...........Ray

MP, the head I currently run is a 206. Apparently 702 is the same casting just different years. I'm not sure about the numbers on a set of closed chamber rect. port head which is what I'm really after! thanks!
