Hey guys I need HELP!!! I would like to run a tunnel ram setup. I have a question on which tunnel ram to run ( edelbrock, street tunnel ram, or Weiand)suggestion on carbrators. I was planning to run 750 double pumpers. Also could use a suggestion for a cam. My boat is a 24ft Sonic with twin 454's that have been bored .030. Using forged pop up pistons compresion ratio is about 10 - 1 using Merlin oval port heads. Berkley JC pumps with A impellers added shoes and rideplates. Any suggestions for more speed would be helpful. Thank you John

2 750's? Sounds WAY over carburated to me...check out Holley's website, they have a great CFM finder. I have seen a lot of people have good luck with those new dual pattern cams.

2 Holley 750 double Pumpers are NOT too much Carburetion for a Jet boat!
Holley makes a model 6109 that is specifically designed for a 2x4 setup!
They work great on my ride!!!
    Primary jet is a 74
Secondary jet is 74 (but I think I need more)
NOTE: Mine are mounted sideways!!!! http://members.aol.com/xclutchboy725.../boatmotor.gif

I run two holleys 750's and they run great, jetted 78,80 on a 461 BBC.
I like the edelbrock tunnel ram myself, but if you have thwe money go Dart.
