After reading through a few posts Ive noticed most of you guys own glass (tupperware) boats, Just Kidding about the tupperware thing. Thats what we call fiberglass driftboats around here.
Anyways, Here is a link to some very bad ass Metal boats. http://www.eagle-marine.com/competition/index.html
    Enjoy

Great link. I've always enjoyed watching those rockets. Nothing wrong with big engines in small boats.
Just curious, though. How many beer cans does it take to build one of those? Or do you save the cans for repairs, and go with the aluminum siding for the build?

Kinda neat! After hitting one of those big rocks you just visit the local reclaimation center to get some of your money back! Can you squeeze one of those in the "Cash for Cans" vending machines? http://free.***boat.net/ubb/biggrin.gif

I don't know about that "turbine silencer" thing. It probably is designed to reduce the resonance inherent to the aluminum hull. Whitewater, help me out.
However, I'll take a guess at this:
" unique hand built aluminum muffler system"=Empty Coors Light cans w/holes punched in 'em.

Im not surre what the turbine silencer is, Im thinking its some sort of rubber buffered mounts?
As for small boats, Most of those boats are 19 to 21' in length. If you guys dont know, Whitwater racing has 4 seperate classes. f/x= stock small block, any pump mods. B class built small blocks, 383 cid max. . A class built big blocks, 468 cid max. and Unlimited, anything you want to run. Some guys run blowers others run twin turbos. The 2 fastest boats in 2000 were running injected bigblocks. One all aluminun the other was Ford powered.
Aluminum is tough, It takes alot to hurt it and its fairly easy to fix. I can vouch for it being tough stuff. Ive been in 2 seperate boats that have hit some big boulders while running the river. Both time the hits were hard enough to rattle your teeth, Both times we were able to continue on and then make it back to the launch. Check this webpage for more bad boats. www.jetboatracing.com (http://www.jetboatracing.com)
    Have a great weekend!

The muffler really does work well. I know the owner of eagle marine and eagle power boat. They have been dyno proven on motors up to 1000 hp, with no hp loss and more torque. They sound real nice. Jet boats have gotten a bad rap over the years due the ego boys that run open headers on boats that don't go fast. This has only hurt the sport. We run these mufflers on race boats with good success (110 mph boats).

You are right. I hit hard 4 years ago in the red / black eagle boat on there web page. I folded it a bit. Got 180 bucks cash from a metal recycler. I used the money to buy pain killers, so I could get in my truck and go back to eagle and order another boat. I now have two, One pleasure one race.

I'm sure they do. Just us tupperware guys havin' some fun at whitewater's expense. The larger diameter Foster's cans probably work better anyway (less backpressure).

I stand corrected- I should have said "Miller Lite"...er...I mean light boats. http://free.***boat.net/ubb/tongue.gif http://free.***boat.net/ubb/tongue.gif http://free.***boat.net/ubb/tongue.gif
