Here is a statement that I received via email, and I thought I would share:
"My dearest family and friends,
Last night, we went to bed feeling secure, well guarded, and confident in the
knowledge that in the morning, yet another day would brightly dawn in
America, full of promise, hope, and the belief that we were "safe." It
didn't take long for the events of September 11, 2001, to be instantly
engraved upon a memorial wall in our minds, of tragic, historical moments,
which as citizens of this great nation, we have been forced to deal with from
time to time. And yet, the magnitude of this particular day is one that
leaves no American free from feeling a wide range of emotions raging from
anger and fear, to that of great national pride.
For whatever reason, before I left the house this morning, I felt compelled
to fly the “stars and stripes.” And as I traveled around LA this morning, I
noticed that there seemed to be even more American flags flying than usual.
Even more than on a national holiday.
In recent years, we have become a nation of “hyphenated” Americans. Some peo
ple have found it necessary in their "political correctness" to identify
themselves by their ancestral roots, followed by “American.” Well, my
friends, let me assure you that the attacks upon us this morning were NOT
directed at any “hyphen,” but were directed at “Americans,” and at our
country. Period!
If even in these early moments of this national tragedy, there is any good
that can come from these attacks, let it be that we as “Americans” join
together, unified in our determination to bring the cowards and assassins
responsible for these attacks to justice. That we unify in an effort to help
those in this time of great need. That we pray for the survivors and
victims, as well as their families and friends. And that we stand even
firmer for our way of life, our form of government, and above all, our
freedom!
I encourage you to join me and other proud Americans in flying your flag
through these next several trying days. Let it remind you and all who see it
that we will survive this terrible tragedy, and that we will fight for our
freedom at all cost.

Mister460, I hope you won't take this wrong but I sure hope they figure out who did this and then send you guys in and light those ****ers up! If they do, I hope you come home safe with good kill record. Thanks to all of our service men and women who will fight and have fought for our freedom.

Lets remember what seperates us from terrorist scum. First...we do not intentionally attack civilian targets, we don not just 'kill 'em all', and we do not exact justice without knowing who is responsible. Lets raise the intelligence quotient in this board just a notch.
The towel head and ghetto rat references are highly uncalled for. Let me share a little story with you:
My fiancée told me a story last night when she got home from work that
really hit home. She had tears in her eyes when she was telling it to me,
it is a story I wanted to share with all of you, and I hope you will share
it with others.
The office she works in was one of the only offices that had a TV and
satellite dish, and so it became a gathering place for the entire building
as yesterdays story unfolded. While watching CNN, she noticed there was an
Arab man in the corner of the room looking on. He was shaking watching the
Towers in New York City fall. He called his wife and began to cry. She
asked him if this meant they were going to have to leave the country.
One of the women in the office walked over to him and hugged him. He sobbed
and just said 'we are not like those people you see on TV. We do not cheer
when bad things happen to America. We Love America, this is our home.'
Just remember, in America we defend the rights for free speech, no matter how much we may disagree with it. The people you see on TV cheering against the US have been brainwashed by their government, and are not much different than ignorant americans who cheer when we bomb other countries. Death, of ANY of Gods people is regrettable no matter how deserved it may be.
Lets pray for all of those affected by this trajedy both directly and indirectly, and look forward to bringing those responsible to justice, the American Way.

When we were attacking Iraq, you didn't see U.S Citizens in the streets cheering the death of innocent civilians...

mr460, the Marines in my family, past & present, would love to join you in that landing. If we declare war on Iraq, Iran for harboring the thugs, civilians will get killed. Well, they upped the ante when they killed our civilians. We could also charge them about $1 trillion in reparations (tribute). Half to the victims, half to the US for the cost of security. Osama's reward was $5 million, what's he worth now? Here in Vero Beach, FL, some arrests are made, presumably connected to the flight schools here. Hopefully, these events will change some attitudes in our US leftists who wanted to show solidarity with their third world brothers. Not to mention our oil company friends on the right. We also need to get control of Arab TV.

Today at work we found out that we lost several members of company on flight 77.We should nuke the F#cks or better yet we have a new impulse bomb that flattens everything in sight and no radiation effects afterwards.

RioDog, I think that Terrible Budhist is just trying to prevent "hate crimes" from happening here in the US. As well as hauling off and bombing everything in site in the middle east (while it would give some of us including myself alot of satisfaction) is probably not the smartest solution to the problem. Keep in mind a couple of these little countries have nuclear capabillities as well and as you put it (animals) have very little respect for human life.
