I am replacing the switches in mykitchen and the switches that I am pulling out are a two pole deal, while the new ones are 3 pole. I can't get the 3 poles to workie.

This guy is Mr. Scarlata...I'm sure he's laughing right now. He has a pretty good sense of humor.

Wicky I would appreciate the humorous remarks to be kept to yourself thank you.
Boozer, thanks for your honest response to help me out. These guys (Wicky) are just plain bozos with no regards for other peoples feelings.
That being said, can anyone help a brother out?

YOu can make a 3 way switch work where you would usually not use one. Do you have a multimeter? Usually there are two poles at the bottom and one at the top plus the common, usually in the middle of the switch. Put the meter in continuity mode and check between one pole and a second while operating the switch. if you don't get a continuity response, try the other pole, unless there is something very special about these switches, one set of poles should work.
