I do not really need lights but the DNR where I boat likes to hand out tickets 1 hour before sunset if you do not have lights :argue:
Ok going off of that bracket idea how about a bracket mounted to the stringer and then I will just use one of those 4 foot light poles
I think I am going to sleep on it
Thanks guys will check back in the morning its 10:30pm here and I get up at 4AM to drive 75 miles to work
GOODNIGHT
Like your idea about the stinger. I couldn't mount anything as gay as lights so I went with the stick -ons. Works very well, except one time in Laughlin and I hit a water taxi wake and it flew off right in front of jonny law, well he just told me to pull off the water until I get a new one, had a spare, pulled it out and BAM ready to roll. good times they were watching though

Wet77 - Here is a picture of KenF's Cheyenne. He has his stern light mounted on the motor.

Awsome pic I think that is the direction I am going to head.
When the bow light gets here this week I will set it where it is going and make up my mind on drilling holes in my boat
The stern light is going on the motor or stringer though
What looks like the stern light on this CP is cleaner looking than the traditional round attwood model. You could probably PC or ano the bezel to match the rest of your hardware too!

After breaking down last summer and not getting a tow back till late in the dark with only a flashlight from the towing boat on us, I finally said the heck with it I'm putting lights. I seen how Squirtchas looked and did it. I made a temporary mount till I decide weather I'm going to make an aluminum one.http://www2.***boat.com/image_center...ight_mount.jpg .
Not to purdy but I feel comfortable about the what if. I'll like it better when I reshape the mount.
good idea
How about building a mount on a ski tow, tow rope, chingus thingee??
Most don't ski at night anyway.
Overtons, Rex Marine(maybe), or Boaters World.
