ok...i've read the replies on how to run ur mtr on the trailer with a bilge pump & bucket...my ?? is...at home with the boat on the trailer...can i run a garden hose to the thermo housing on top of the manif & get water thru the whole system...includeing the jet (cant run it dry)??

Running your boat on the trailer with a garden hose will never get enough water to the jet to ensure you won't be causing damage. No two ways about it. The ONLY safe way to protect the pump is to have it unhooked when running the boat out of the water.
