I plan on going out on Sat with a buddy who is picking up his new boat Friday. He asked if I could help him get aclamated with his launching prior to taking his family out for the first time. Would like to have a beer with you this weekend. Lets plan on meeting up some where. If not I will be at the Lost Isle the following Sunday. You should try to get in on the Oroville trip before all the space is gone.

Its about a 5 to 6 hour drive, but there is 1000 navigatable miles of water to play on.
Does anybody have any pics of the Delta or the areas where everyone hangs out?Is it similar to Parker strip?My brother lives in Tracy,how far is that from the good boating areas?

They have Poker Runs throughout the summer sponsered by different folks. Usually, I believe they're on Mondays.

most of the good poker runs are on sat. big cat is very good to notch boats skater mti dcb fountain cig scarab ect. every type water glass to rough. another good time is bridge to bridge in sacramento radar run. tracy is very close to delta.

Where does everyone hang out? That depends on who everyone is. With so much water and places to go and different ways to get there you never know who you'll find where. The water has a tidal influence so it isn't very conducive to beaching though there are a few places. Tracy is only about 30 minutes from good boating. If you wanted you could easily run 100+ miles in one day

Can't Saturday, I have to pick up the folks that day from the airport that have never seen the Delta. This will be an experience for them, especially since one of them hasn't even been on a boat before! :sqeyes:
