I have a new to me (used) Demon 850 carb on my boat. I cranked it for the first time and it has a small leak and it seems to be leaking from the sight glasses on the bowls. Has anyone ever had their carb leak from the sight glasses. This is the first Holley or Demon carb i have owned and have no idea how to work on them. I can take apart and Edelbrock with my eyes closed but have no clue about a Holley or Demon.

I'm running a 27 year old Holley 700CFM 4150. No sight glasses, I have the plugs, the orriginal plugs and orriginal seals! Absolutely leak free. IMO, a holley is one of the simplest carbs there is, and the design works GREAT.

I think most people will probably tell you to get rid of the clear sight plugs. If you want to keep the clear plugs, you might try replacing the o-rings on them and see if that helps.
